Gestalt therapy is part of humanistic psychology, a school of thought that views the human being as a whole: body, emotions, mind, and spirit.

It doesn’t just seek to alleviate symptoms, but rather to foster awareness and personal responsibility, helping individuals live with greater authenticity and presence.

Instead of focusing solely on the past or the diagnosis, Gestalt therapy invites us to look at what is happening here and now, recognizing the emotions, sensations, and thoughts that arise in the present.

From this awareness arises the possibility of change. The goal is not to “fix” anyone, but to accompany them in the process of reconnecting with who they truly are—their essence, but also with their inner needs and capacities.
